About Larsa FC
One of the oldest MPL clubs, Larsa FC was founded in the late 21st Century (BC) to demonstrate the city of Larsa's gratitude to the sun god, Utu. The Southern Babylonian club dominated the MPL between 2025 BC and 1763 BC, enjoying a fierce local rivalry with Isin FC that has since led sports historians to refer to these seasons as the Isin-Larsa Period.
Each shirt comes with Sumuel (7) on the back to pay homage to Sumuel, the 7th King of Larsa. This jersey was worn when Sumuel doubled up as King-Captain during the 1825-24 BC season.
